Death at the Doorstep

We've been hoping and praying that my Mom would quietly, and without too much pain and discomfort, leave this world for a better place.  Today she's really bad.  So bad that the thought of her actually being gone is sinking in.  I can't imagine my life without her in it.....even in the state she is in.  Some days are harder than others.......and this is one of those hard ones.
